Agents, sometimes called Representatives, take responsibility for the representation and promotion of VTI products in their designated territory.
This generally includes lead generation/handling, the technical sales process but does not include financial transactions and support of the customer thereafter. These are dealt with by VTI directly with commissions being paid at the end of a given sale.
Companies operating in this mode are expected to have knowledge of both territory and customer base and may carry complimentary product lines.
