OEM's take responsibility for the integration of VTI products within their own product offering for a designated territory/purpose which may be geographic, specific market, or both focused.
This is generally a complete technical integration such that sales and support efforts are an intrinsic part of the OEM operation.
Companies operating in this mode will have developed their own customer base which is often unique and seen as expansion upon the normal business of VTI. OEM relationships often allow both parties to conduct business in areas or with a performance level they could not achieve alone.
