Overview
The "ENCOUNTER" software package from VTI provides the PC Environment from which to drive the AERO VAC Odyssey Mass Spectrometer. The Dashboard, so to speak.
While capable of operating standalone, the AERO VAC is truly unleashed as an RGA and Gas Analysis system when connected to a PC and operating within the ENCOUNTER Environment.
With a palate of standard "Dashboard data displays" (Main Modes) including Analog, Histogram, Trend and Leak Detect and comprehensive suite of "Dashboard extensions" (Control Icons and Calculators / Tools) such as Odyssey Status, Peak Monitor, Trend Statistics and Residual Gas Analysis, you are equipped to tackle the vacuum diagnostics management tasks required by systems today.
With the Multi-head operation and Ethernet communications capability of the AERO VAC / Encounter combination, you are equipped to accommodate multi-system (production scenario) or large (accelerator / physics experiment scenario) situations. The AERO VAC is used on them all!!
