Clicking with the mouse on any peak displayed in the Analog window will generate an instant summary for that peak. This will appear in the Peak Statistic window as shown right.
Peak Location - this is the actual position of the measured peak center on the calibrated mass scale indicated in AMU (Atomic Mass Units).
Maximum - the ion current measured at the peak location position indicated in Amps (A).
Baseline - the extrapolated baseline determined at the peak location position indicated in Amps (A).
Resolution - This is calculated as M/D M where M is the Mass and D M is the peak width at 10% of height both measured in AMU.
Possible Sources - results are displayed here of a search through the on-board spectral library of compounds having a primary or daughter peak at the selected mass position.
